Message My TT is on fairly stock suspension (I've got sway bars, which help a bit, tension rods, and control arms, which don't do a whole lot until I lower it), and I'm winning BSP in my Twin Turbo in the Kansas City SCCA Region...

Imho, if you want to be really competitive, the best mod you can do is not a suspension mod, its TIRES! My times dropped significantly once I put Hoosier A3S04s on my car... I'm now running within 3-4 seconds of the fastest guys out there... and I'm pretty happy with that. The Z32 is plenty competitive in its respective classes (ESP is the only questionable one IMHO... placing the NA Z with STi's is ridiculous).

I'll personally be running SM2 next year and looking to (hopefully) back my BSP trophy that I hope to win this year... =)
:Search reveals a ton of autocross threads - but could I get the readers digest version? With all the information on this site, would it be possible for one of you auto-x'ers to put together an FAQ for the board? For starters - what is a basic setup for autocrossing the Z32? What hardware, tires, alignment, etc? What is the best way to correct understeer? I realize this is a broad quesiton with the basic answer the more you spend the faster you go - but would it be possible to create a "stages" for autocrossing the Z32? Would it be possible for the autocrossers to list their upgrades in one place to make this information accessible? Hope this is a case of my poor search skills and someone has already done this - but if not, how 'bout it?
:A second question - I'm more or less a novice x'er. Raced a 240Z today set for the track and with an experience driver - it wasn't close even though I was happy with my time. Is the Z32 a good choice to auto-X? I've got a spare Z31 I could build for x'ing - would that be a better idea?
:Sorry for the newbie questions about x'ing - but we all start as novices... Thanks for the replies.
