Message When i arrived home yesterday evening, i have shown to Mario (350Z owner) that was sitted on my right at the dinner table, the magnetic base and mounted dial indicator that i was using to measure the crank lateral play with indicator installed on the pulley face and press the clutch pedal to see how much it was moving in the front direction and if i was getting again any wear on the crank trust bearing face.
I have noticed that dial indicator shaft was jammed at 0 reading! I have made 2 check during last week and i was getting no front move or needle was found at 0 before and after but the indicator was stocked at 0 reding!
Wednesday, when i have arrived in the Berdick Nissan parking lot, i have released the clutch gently without any gas and a strong vibration happens. It was similar to the one i had noticed in the past when the crank bearing external face was worn-out by .025''. It may explain my engine break on the track because chips was probably running already in the engine when i have increased the boost to 17 psi on my second track run.
If i had found before that my dial indicator was defective and the measurements on the crank lateral play was over .012'' (Nissan lateral play limit) i had never drove down to the Z-con.

At least, i have got a prize souvenir but it should have spent $100 of phone calls in the afternoon to find a dock around Syracuse to put the car on the open trailer being 56'' height. Without good result and i have finally rent a platform towing to do it. One AAA truck from track to Birdick Nissan, second one to put the car on the third one Montreal trip truck trailer, and finally 4th one next Monday to bring the car in my garage!!!

Can i pass a hat on the twinturbo.net to collect funds for being the best unlucky Z32 owners or i should fired my bad mechanics loll, he is already fired from his aircraft job since June 2004 so i don't think his next career will be dedicated to be a Z mechanics don't you think???

Gerg, the dinner was great and was happy to be accepted and win these trims. I have replaced the missing dessert by taking a second main plate. Don't forget to control the distributed voting blank tickets at the next similar events because i have think myself to fill more than one but there is no proud to win a prize being out of the rules right? So i'm proud to be the 1st Nissan mods of people choice, my work labour time worth it as much as well as the 5 others trophees won in the last month in my area sport compact events but i'm missing at least 5 other possible trophees lost on previous car show missed due to consecutive engine break down!

Now i should find a job before to have no choice to live and sleep in my Z!
