Message	It's actually -700 to +700, 760 mmHg = 14.7 psi, so 700 is about 14. When the car is off, the needle should be at the farthest left the spring will push it (pegged to the left), when you turn the key to on, the gauge gets power and reads the pressure....when the engine is off, the pressure will be normal (0 psi). When the engine is on, it acts like a giant vacuum, sucking in all air, so the gauge will read somewhere in vacuum (negative boost). When the turbos are spooled, they are pushing air into the engine and compressing it, so the gauge will read positive boost.
