lifespan, you would have smelled it for days, and you wouldn't have bogged, you woulda revved up real quick. I keep being told my car's oddly powerful for what it is, so i really can't use it to compare, but my friend's coupe is running about the same as you, and can't spin too well w/o dumping real high, too, so from the sounds of it, you're running about right for the car. (as long as you can cut that 60' down some, I think it's time to learn to slip out a clutch ;) ) -John
