My friends dad owns a body shop and they deal with lots and lots and lots of insurance companies. He tells me all the time how lazy and crooked these insurance companies can get. I assure you his shop is considered one of the best in the South San Diego with great fairness, quick work, and excellent work.Right now they have roughly 50 cars! crazy! He tells me how the "cheap" insurance companies will not get to work on time.such as get the paper work started, get the adjuster going on the follow up etc. Sometimes cars will be on his lot for weeks, or months without repair because they need the go-ahead from the insurance companies, but they are too lazy. They also can be so lazy in paper work they salvage the vehicles even though they can be repaired. In this case you had the shop that was no good and it seems your insurance adjuster screwed you. What insurance do you have? He tell me the ones that reall come through are geico, 21 century, proggresive those are some of them that are on the case. But when you buy one of those " I just need insurance" plans you and your car gets shafted. I really hope everything works out for you Why don't you try talking to some Z members to guide you with the right body shop in your town?
