| After two years of slow progress its finally done. I know there not J-specs but I thought someone might appreciate the fabrication that went into it. Hope you guys like it. This is how it looked when I first got it. Can you believe someone would choose to put those wheels on over the factory wheels.
.
.
. I love the J-specs just as much as anyone else here, but I decided to do something a little more original in the back.
.
.
. I used 45 lb solenoids to pop the latches. It works great.
. I didnt realize how much prep went into a good paint job. I decided to go with blizzard pearl white. Its the same color found on the 2005 Toyota avalons. My cheap camera doesnt do the color justice.

.
. A few toys for the z. I also replaced every molding and trim on the outside of the z. Never realized how much that stuff cost.
.
. Finally I can get rid of those awful wheels that came on the car. I picked up these twinturbo wheels for $200. I had them polished for another $200. They came out pretty nice for $400 total. Cant complain.
. I decided to go with the BFG Sport tires even though they did not make the correct size for the rear. I had to go with 245/50/16. Its about a half inch taller or so. But it gave the z a nice beffy looking stance.
.
. Almost ready for paint!
. Rock guard removed!
.
. Ahhh, finally. I have never been so excited about waxing my car. It has been way too long.
.
. Wasnt to sure about the wheels. Hope I got them on the correct side.

. Here is a couple pictures of the custom sub enclosures I built. They are very similar to the ones Chris makes (I think that is his name). I made my angle down towards the center of the hatch and down towards the front. Im really happy with the way they came out.
.
. Anyways, hope you guys like it. Now for some performance.
