it will be worth it provided I get an answer! I am in the midst of wiring the Viper 791XV alarm using the steps outlined by Ash and Jodecy. For those who will just tell me I should have someone else do it, please don't post because I have already thought of that and prefer to do it myself so I know every connection is soldered and connected to last. I was reading the "Ash" thread and he has pin 7 & 11 for the door lock/unlock while Jodecy cut a brown wire in a harness near the drivers fuse block. I would prefer to use the Ash method but I am unsure how to connect the alarm into it. The alarm has a green and a blue wire for the door lock function. Each wire seems to be both (-) and (+) capable with the only difference being the green is (-) first and the blue (+) first. If I follow Jodecy's lead and tap into the brown wire, I don't understand why the factory wire gets cut. I am sure to have additional questions as I read the manual and start the install so please, bare with me...
