Well, after 15 years of owning red Nissan sports cars, it was time for a drastic change... of colour. My red Z is gone (sniff...). Fortunately it's in good hands... my brother owns it now (TT.net member "Audioquest"). It has been reunited with his wife's car - my old 240SX. We're a real Nissan family now. As some of you may remember, my other brother owns a Z too (yellow N/A). We recently had a rare opportunity to get everyone together, so we sort of had our own private Nissan meet. Three quarters of the attendees belonged to me at one time or another. :) 
The black '92 TT is my "new" car. I would have kept the red '90 TT except the mileage is getting up there (over 250,000 km's). It still runs strong and handles great, and is in excellent condition, but I figured continuing to use it as my daily driver may not be a good idea. My brother won't drive it nearly as much as I would so it'll probably last him forever. I had been keeping my eyes open for a lower mileage alternative for quite some time now, when a friend just happened to stumble across this one at a Chevrolet dealership. The dealer accidentally advertised it as an automatic, which worked in my favour to ward off any competing 5-speed shoppers. The '92 TT has less than half the mileage (121,000 km's = 75,000 miles), and, other than wing rot and paint chips, is in amazing condition... plus I've always wanted black. Between the 240SX and the '90 TT, I've driven red vehicles for 15 years. It was time for a change. Hopefully this one will be as good to me as the others have been. -Rich
