Message octane and a lot less to do with A/F. You are only running ~8psi of boost pressure, which is pretty low. I know the NA motor makes good power at 8psi of pressure, but there is still a good bit of boost in the turbos that you aren't tapping. Water injection will allow you to turn up the boost some more without detonation.

I'm just making a suggestion to you here - I've tuned the turbo'd NA engine before and I've played with water injection extensively. You will stand to benefit greatly from the use of water injection on the high-compression NA engine. It will add a degree of safety to your combination as well as allow you to turn up the boost a little more.
