Message	Dont count on the cops doing anything. I was sideswiped once in my beater, and the guy took off. I chased him, got down his license plate and called the CHP since it occured on the freeway. I had a officer out there in 10 minutes and he took my report. Turns out the CHP didnt even visit the guy's residence for 3 weeks, and the guy of course had already got his car repaired so the cops concluded that there was no damage and no accident that they could see. .
