out of fully "coned courses" (SCCA). I just need to set up my other set of stockers with some Hoosiers or some other R compound race tire. They should have called the event "Drift Day at Gainsville"! All the turns being off camber insured that everyone, race cars included, drifted through every turn. Drifting is fun but I'd mch rather stick & post faster times. Although I was content with my best lap time of 55.42, I would hope to be a couple of secs faster. Lots of very cool cars & people as well which really made event a hit despite some minor glitches. Walkie talkies between the the starter & time keeper would have helped since timing was done manually with stop watches. Other than that a great time was had by all. Thanx Z-fest & all who attended!
