I bought two cars sight unseen. A 1999 Acura TL and my 1993 300ZX TT. Both cars came with a thick folder outlining the car's history dating back to mile 000001. Both were checked by a dealer. Both were reasonably priced. Both had a CarFax report pulled. I flew to Texas for the Acura and in person she was 50x nicer than descibed. Even had the plastic protective film inside from Honda as it was never removed. The Z was shipped and again, 50x nicer and 100x faster than decribed. I paid $450 to have it shipped. Most companies quoted me $800 but in the last minute I found an Arizona based company who is a member of the BBB with a clean record to do it for half the other quotes.
