Of course it is a Leica, so the optics might be better than some others. For 4x6 and onscreen viewing, you don't need to worry about something that big. More megapixels = more storage space. I can fit over 700 photos on a 512 mb memory card. Check my post last month about the Denver Concours d'Elegance and you can see that they are good quality pics. If you want to make posters or huge enlargements get something higher megapixel. IMO i'd spend money on better optics than higher megapixel.
