may spool the turbos faster in the RPM band; correct, more aggressive gearing will more than make up for the quicker spooling of the turbos. And from what I've seen, the spool is only a 100-200 quicker, not nearly enough to offset a distinct increase in the added acceleration due to lower gearing. These are general rules of thumb, and there are exceptions to all (ie. You can overgear a car, and slow it down over a given distance.). Hope all is well, Mark
