Message	gopher (character-based) was considered by many to be the predecessor to web browsers. lynx (displayed) was one of the first character-mode browsers, but doesn't pre-date mosaic, samba (no not what you think), worldwideweb, or midas. ------------------------------------------------------ only idiots put euro country badges on american cars. yub yub, says the ewok.
