HELP if you have advice...please! I just moved to Abilene (west of Dallas), and I'm planning on checking out the TWINTurbo's of Dallas one of these weekends. Anyway... I just got hit in my '93 2+2 and GEICO wants to total it. It was in great condition and only had 69K miles. I bought it 4 years ago with 25K miles for a decent price (>$13,000) because it was immaculate and everything was just the way it was bought except for things like tires and brakes. GEICO values the car at $7,500'ish because of the NADA value. I tried to explain that it is worth more because it's a FREAKIN' Z not a Chevy Lumina...you can't use Kelley Blue Book and NADA to assess the value. He wouldn't budge, but said to bring something a little more concrete then my opinion. Is there anyone else out there that has been able to "prove" the true value of their Z when dealing with insurance? Thanks...
