I claybared her and waxed (dat ass) too. I decided to clean her up before the sun came out Sunday. so I washed, claybared (for the first time all year, wow) glazed her with that sweet-ass Meguiars #7 shiz, followed by some NXT wax. Enough of the free advertising, here are some pics:
 Last Friday my brother came up to help me with this: 
Right off at the canister, pretty cleanly too, luckily. My bro has a small MIG welder and was able to repair the break easily. I finished it off with some brake paint (the highest temp engine stuff I found was 500°, the brake stuff was rated to 925°, plus, who wants a Ford blue exhaust?), polished the cans and bolted back up. 
Looks better than new, but I already know someone will say one is crooked. Well it always was, and who's gonna notice except us? Plus in the end it saved me about a grand for new exhaust :D
Maybe I'll review my new tires too. I recently got Toyo T1-S's (esssess) to replace my S-O3's.
Pros of Toyo's:
Excellent ride quality and straight line cruising feel (the Bridgestones would dart all over even highways, picking up every little bump or uneven surface)
Excellent in the rain. (but so were the S-O3’s, once you got used to the darting)
Burnout ability (just couldn't do it in the S-O3's)
Thicker sidewall (Lord knows Boston isn’t easy on the wheels) Cons of Toyo's:
Turn in delay: That’s the only way I can describe it. I set up for a turn, and the car takes noticeably longer to “get in the groove”. The S-O3’s would what now feels like instantaneously lock into position and give me incredible confidence in ever turn. ConsDirect comparison...I like the S-O3's better from a driver’s feel/track use tire perspective, but all around I’m quite satisfied with the new Toyos. Thanks for reading, hopefully I helped someone with a future tire purchase or exhaust repair or “How to make your bitch look really sexy after you glaze her” session :D
