Message	to try and pass smog with bad gas (Taco Bell notwithstanding). How much gas do you have in the tank? I'm not sure if octane booster would help pep up the old stuff. But I'd definitely suggest getting through the bad stuff and getting a fresh tank in there before going for the smog. Sounds like a perfect excuse to pop the tops and take an extended drive up/down PCH.
