Message i picked up the miatAr for dirt cheap. the left 1/4 was replaced (so *major* frame damage).

the only 'aggravation' ive had is that the paint on the doors wasnt so good and peeled off when i removed the tape at my first winter weahter autocross (i blame the freezing rain, as no more paint has peeled off since). and since the dildo that put the 1/4 on didnt redrill the drain hole i have a slight rust issue there as well. but its not a big deal.

suspension wise, alignment wise (i did them myself), etc it was in better shape then a friends miata with a salvage title (my car showed no carfax accident history) and almost half the price. HE got fuct, but that was his own stupidty

but, yea, sometimes it is the best way to get a deal. i wouldnt buy it without a thorough inspection though (ask to see alignment numbers and such)

fear the miatAr

Granted, that is my opinion, but it is the correct one - good ole spee
