Message I'm no expert, but this is what I can gather from previously asked questions....

Up side....

1. Same size wheels & tires allows front<--->rear rotation to get the most out of your tires.

2. Reduced understeer in neutral cornering and cornering under braking.(I seem to get throttle induced oversteer alot =O) with stock set-up, but that shouldn't be any different)

Down side....

1. Wider meat up front will wear faster on inside corners unless you can adjust the camber to a more neutral setting. Probably would be a good idea to get adjustable A-arms(another mod to pay for)and replace any worn suspension parts such as struts, springs, lower member bushings, tie rod ends, and steering rack bushing.

2. 245/45 ZR 16's cost more $ than 225/50 ZR 16's

Probably more pros and cons, but these are the ones I can think of right now. One other would be any affect on the ABS system(Good or bad, I don't know). Auto-Xers would know alot more on this subject, as they seem to be more intense about handling characteristics than most. Comments welcome!

Thought for the week:

When I was young, I was told that just about anybody could grow up to be President. The last two terms have proven that to be true!
