I want to say Thank You to some great guys. I got my car back last Sat. (Sorry if you missed your flight ,Ash.) which was being worked on at Turbo F/X owned by Erik Taylor (Eriksu9). It's been quite an ordeal to say the least but nonetheless the car is alive again after receiving a new engine,new 96+ Transmission, PWR Radiator, new JWT Sport 500's (thanks again Russell @ Z1,the cores are on their way back to you),Nismo555 injectors,RPS Aluminum flywheel and Max clutch,1 pc driveshaft from Z1,Z1 intercoolers and Ash's Extreme intake (which is a work of art,too bad it's not visible from outside the car) and some other goodies like a Greddy Profec B Spec II,HKS Turbo Timer and an additional Greddy EGT Gauge. First, Thanks Ash, (I'll get the radiator to Dee for shipment) the work was TOP NOTCH and complete. Every bolt,nut,wire,hose,connector,etc, was tight and the way the factory would have done it! I'm still impressed and I'm just trying get through the break-in period without losing control. I look forward to you returning to the area so we can put this thing on a dyno and see what it does. Yo, Erik, thanks for the use of your shop,I know the car was there for a while but it meant alot to me. You helped me out from the very beginning,from getting the tranny from Sheridan Nissan,(thanks Kerry for all the parts and discounts)to lining up the shipments,etc. I'll catch up with you this weekend about some other details but just wanted everyone to know Erik is a standup guy and a great friend! Finally, Thanks to Dee for all the info and advice as well as dropping me off to pick the car up on Sat. This post is alittle late but these 3 guys are dedicated Z guys that are always willing to lend a hand to a fellow Z owner. All the help and advice and info are much appreciated! Sorry this is so long but I felt that the people involved needed to be acknowledged. If anyone ever has a chance to have Ash work on their Z, do yourself a favor and take advantage of the opportunity. He knows these cars from top to bottom,in and out down to every last bolt,nut,etc. In fact, there are some who may say that he knows these cars TOO well.
