So i am driving to wal-mart and it starts pouring rain and when i get there i park, go to step out and the water is halfway up my shin. So i went to pull forward a little bit further hoping the water would be a little less deep but apparently it was even deeper and my engine just shut off. So i just sat there in the car and it continued pouring until the water was up to the bottom of my doors. Eventually it stopped raining and the flooding started going down so i went to start the engine and i cranked for a while but eventually started but now it has a knock. I managed to limp it home but i fear a bent of broken rod. It definitely has less power and a knock whose speed is dependent on RPMs. The knock is more pronounced on the top of the engine then it is underneath. But the thing that puzzled me is that the oil pressure is normal 60psi until it hits about 4-5k rpms then it drops to zero. If anyone has any input please post, I have already posted in the classifieds for an NA engine in the NC area as i am afraid thats what i am going to need.
