After owning several and rebuilding several I realize that the cost to fix one up is a lot. Heck, my 87 turbo I just sold I dropped $15,000 in parts alone in 2 years. SO with that said there are people who do know a lot about these cars, but don't want to spend the time or money restoring one. They are the ones that will pay $30,000 for one. SO in essence, I would easily pay say $30,000 for a twin turbo that had over $50,000 invested into it. It would help prevent me from going out and buying say an $8000 car and dropping $50,000 into it to get it to the point I would want it at. Of course on the other hand, if I felt like taking on a project and doing it my own way I would buy a beater and fix it up. But not every one has the time or patience to do that. Please do not insult the Z's by being cheap. I think Twin Turbo Z's are worth every penny no matter what they are worth.
