my r134 retrofit went like this; changed two orings at the compressor, filled with r134, and drove away. i've been enjoying ice cold a/c for the last 3 years/15k miles....why did you go through all the trouble???????

How to Check Turbos: "1st remove exhaust and pre-cats. Then fire that mother up, rev it to at least 5000 rpm and then stick your finger into the hole on the back of the turbo. If the turbine grinds your finger down, then your turbo is working. If your finger gets ground off farther than the second knuckle, then your turbos are good for at least another 60k miles!
