| Here in Florida they must pay claims to put the car in pre loss condition. Progressive wanted me to use one of their crap shops and use garbage non genuine parts. I told them that I would pick my own and insisted that they pay for ALL genuine Nissan parts, windshield with Nissan written on the glass, and etch the VIN. # on the glass as was original. Glass Doctor came to me, did ALL the work, and billed it to my insurance Co. for me.
They replaced the glass, the clips, fasteners, spacers and moldings all with genuine Nissan parts. I had to take it to a dealer to get the VIN etching done as original and pay for it myself but, Progressive reimbursed me.
