Message Anyone try this kit yet?

I just had them installed. I have boost, water temp and oil pressure in a triple pillar setup. The gauges all connect to the control unit which has a wired remote. The remote allows you to dim or change color of the gauges and also controls the record/playback functions of the unit. It also has a slot for a SD memory card.

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the memory card (about $20 for 256MB SD nowadays) or the software Nexus N1.0, which I can't seem to find anywhere. The software lets you analyze the recorded data on your PC once you've downloaded file(s) from the memory card. You can also program specific start-up and shutdown sequences for the gauges...pointless I know, but cool to look at.

Sorry, no pics yet but I will say the gauges are extremely cool and have a strong geek factor. I leave them on red + white, but there are many other colors you could choose (from tasteful to tacky). They are all black when the car is off.

I think the software has to be ordered direct from autometer, I have an email out to them already, so we'll see how it goes. The software is item # 6891, which I found on their website. Google produces no helpful sources for pricing or the software itself. As much as the gauges and control unit cost, I would hope its free, but I know better.

Here's a link to autometer's website...
