Negative manifold pressure is normal if you're not in the throttle. Every car you've owned until now pretty much always was in the negative (at WOT they might reach 0)... but no one cares to measure it since there's no boost. So during normal cruising, it will be in the negative. Since you didn't get out and stretch her legs, I wouldn't expect the boost to go over 5-7 yet. Get out an drive it like you stole it a little bit (in a straight line if you're not used to it please!) and see where it gets you. Just make sure you have the octane to match what SGP tuned it to, or set up a B setting on the boost controller that's maxed in the 13psi range. The BOVs don't make a whole lot of noise while the engine is in the negative unless you're close to 0 and completely slam the TB shut... then you might get a little phifff out of them. You'll hear them during the drive it like you stole it routine. The turbo timer is probably either geared off the parking brake or RPM or both. If you drive w/o boost for the last 2 mins or so, the car might just shut off instantly since that's all that turbos really need for cool off or your parking brake wasn't pulled.
