one of the bolts that holds the "U" over the spider where it mates into the yoke on the differential broke. It let the driveshaft separate from the yoke and flail around. Luckily I was just pulling away from a stop sign, and it had been making an odd noise, so I essentially just let out the clutch slowly and with no gas. So it only beat up the muffler a little bit. It would have royally suxed it it had been on the highway, say flat out in 4th gear like I usually have it on the highway. It would have separated with the engine under full load(gas peadal on floor). Would have done some SERIOUS flailing and caused some real damage. Luckily it was the back of the shaft and not the front also. I just pulled the shaft out of the Xfer case and put her in 4WD and drove using the front axle a block to my friends house. Was an interesting experience that could have been much worse.
