| I agree with you about the safety of the seats, and the integrity of the brackets. I live in southern Ca. Thats one of those areas where "they are pulling people over for the sake of catching non-street-legal mods". Ive seen and heard of almost every ridiculous ticket you could think of related to non DOT modifications. Others can attest to SoCals vigilant persecution of the car culture. In that aspect I do not think that the existence of a non OEM seat in a car is illegal, or an infraction. That is not to say that safety should not be the soul intention of an aftermarket seat. I'm right there with you on that.
