Message guard, as it's a b*t*h to get off and doesn't do anything anyway. I backed into my garage one time, and barely clipped a metal handle on my tool shelf on the left rear panel, and drug it about 15" until I realized it. It took a total of about 2 hours of gently massaging that scratch with the ScratchX until it came out, but I did so successfully. I fear using anything else more abrasive, although I know it's possible and safe. I'd rather creep up on a scratch, and practice patience to keep my Z as ding and scratch-free as possible.

Just make sure to have a dedicated wheel (you can get a cheap wheel with pads - I'd actually highly suggest this for the ScratchX) and towels when using the ScratchX, as you don't want to work backwards (scratching unscratched surfaces) by sharing towels, etc.

Good luck!
SS
