| until someone measures the flow volume offered by open OEM recircs versus that of a BlitZ or HKS BOV, it will remain a guess. You would also need to estimate how much volume the turbos actually need to evacuate in order to avoid surge...not an easy task at all. Intuitively, I would say that as soon as you have a major leak in the system (i.e. open OEM recircs), air pressure should drop sufficiently that the compressor wheel would still be driven in the right direction by the exhaust gases. This is a good subject for conversation though.
