Message	radar which is hardwired, with a sensor under the front bumper, and a display mounted into the top of the steering column. the only way to take it out of site would be to fully uninstall the display. I guess it would take a va cop to answer this, but i am curious myself, as i usually just leave it on going through va, when i go visit my family in MN. I live in NC, and drive to MN usually atleast once or twice a year. My VG2 warning usually goes nuts, but i havent been pulled over in VA yet.
