| had a few chances to make this better yourself, so you will have to watch how you approch them and what you say. Once they said the glass was broken, you should have stopped everything right there and checked it out. You could have said something, so you have to eat a little bit of blame. But, the shop DID break your window. The shop DID replace it with the wrong window. The tint shop did do a crappy job of tinting your windows as well. I would approch the tint shop first and show them the problems. As John said, they should say they will fix it no questions asked. THEN you tell them about it being the wrong window and you will bring it back once the right window is installed. They should still be OK with this as tinting a window is tinting a window. Make sure and get someones name when you work this out. Then just get the first shop to cough up the right window as it is not your fault they locked your keys in the car or broke your other one or ordered the wrong one without telling you first. Like you said though, be calm and know you are in the right. If they do not tell you want you want to hear, ask to speak to someone farther up. If you get no where, decide if it is worth going to court for and go from there. Good luck.
