| Welcome to the land that time forgot Learn to familiarize yourself with the deer-in-headlights look that comes when you bring your Z to someplace to get work done that you cannot do yourself. It is the same look that you will receive when you are looking for a part (doesnt even need to be an obscure one) for your Z. If you aren't driving a pick up truck or something with hooves here, the general populace is dumbstruck as to how to acccomodate you. If I were you, I would first go punch your boss, or whoever sent you here, in the face.....then I would go to a OKZCC meeting. There's a few guys who can give you good references. A couple are members here. They meet every 3rd tuesday at the Santa Fe steakhouse off of I-240 around 7-8 PM. Mostly 240Z-280Z types but a few regulars are Z32 owners as well. Hope that helps. I do all my work/maintenance in the autoshop on Tinker AFB. Fortunately for me, a few guys in my squadron are former mechanics and the shop usage is only like $4 an hour. Only things I have paid someone else to do was alignments, 60k service, and muffler replacements. If you are working on the base, I highly recommend using the shop, it has saved me thousands.
