What parts can be reasonably removed or replaced with lighter componants without really losing much? weight in the hatch aiv's egr charcoal canister incredibly heavy stock seats turbo back exhaust.... How much weight savings if all stainless? how much for aluminized? hicas -> to NA setup. anyone know if the weight differernce with tubular manifolds is significant? probably drop a few pounds with aluminum hats on two peice rotors. anyone who shaved the rockguard, is it worthwhile to do it to save weight? I doubt there are 4 or 5 pounds of rockguard on there, but you never know. Doors.. the doors always seemed unnecesarily heavy. They weigh easily twice as much as the doors in something like a WRX. Is there anything in there thats particularly heavy? Aluminum suspension parts... how many pounds can be dropped here?
