can you rent the equipment? If you rent the paint booth, do they have equipment there? The money to rent the paint booth sounds worth it over trying to set something up yourself - I assume it'll have proper ventilation and stuff in addition to being a good clean space to paint in.
But hopefully you can find a cheaper place to do the work! Did you call Craftsman Auto Body? There's one in Chantilly, and I'm pretty sure there are others. They've done good work on my car before. Someone also mentioned a place called (I think) Wagonworks to me before; I've heard they're good. Good luck!
