just kidding, the latest installment on what's going on with my build. Last update: La-Z-Link Prepping the engine bay for paint. The decision has been made: BMW steel gray metallic (darker and more metallic than what is on it now... sweet color). 
Closer up. Everything is coming out that can reasonably be removed. A view from the driver's side looking into the bay. Notice what is missing? the lower radiator core support. That was the other project this weekend. You can also see the new stillen sway bar. I bet they didn't custom powdercoat yours to match your car ;-)

The piece going in... after painting the crap out of the inside of it. The outside will be painted after install 
And a few shots of the engine... Still waiting on a valve cover, and the throttle cable cover will be repainted.. but it is getting close. The point of these pics was to show the timing belt covers (new since last time) Wasn't trying to make the plenum look good, it looks much better in person, or in the pics from the last post. 
eh, i guess that's it :-) another two weeks before i can work on it.. sucks
