Message	and spray the paint on there, its impossible to clean the stock mufflers if its not off the car and doubt it is not worth the trouble of taking 10+ year old mufflers to paint them. But make sure you do cover your muffler tips to prevent any over spray because black on stainless steel is very obvious. I suggest jack up rear end of the car and paint the rear sections of the can carefully
