| We sent a few thousand dollars worth of parts to Ireland for this customer everything went smooth. All his e-mail and questions were answered in a timely fashion. He recieved his parts and was extremely happy with the transaction. Problem 1:
I recieved a e-mail saying the testpipes were hitting the body of the car. My response was ok, send me some pics and we can see what is wrong. I have shipped many sets overseas and never had a problem. etc. Well the following day I receved some pics. Looked like they were taken with a camera phone or something real dark and red. I couldn't see anything with the pics. My response was Send the pipes back and we will give you a full credit towards all four rubber mouldings for the t-tops new and I will ship them to you for free. His response was I will not be sending the pipes back as the mechanic is charging me $1000 to take them off as they will have to pull the engine. Which everyone knows you don't have to pull the engine to take off the downpipes/testpipes. He said the only way you will recieve the pipes back is Z1 will pay $1000 labor to have them pulled off. Which no shop pays any labor on a defective part. He wanted me to send $350 worth or rubber seals and free shipping and he would be returning nothing. I am a reasonable person but this is unacceptable. We then told him we would give him $100 credit on the seals and he could use that money to make a spacer or modify the pipe or whatever to clear the body. My problem is he won't send the pipes back to me because the mechanic is going to charge him $1000 to pull them. Ok, so you are leaving them on the car??? I thought they were junk and wouldn't work?? I don't understand this part nor do I understand wanting a credit without returning parts??? Our testpipes/downpipes are made off of the same jig on every set and we have never had a problem?? I'm not saying he is lying about the pipes, but I don't understand why he will not return them for a credit and demands a refund???
