Hey guys, just to let any of you that are thinking of dealing with Z1 for the supply of parts, forget it, you are wasting your time. The in-house parts are rubbish, customer relations are pre-historic and theres a good chance you'll get insulted by the staff. I spent nearly $6,000 on parts and got them shipped to me. I paid for everything in full and up front and several parts were either incorrect or defective. I was dealing with Robert Lee which was a frusterating and terrible experience. If I had any other contact there I would have used them instead. I was initially told upon supplying photographic evidence that their Z1 downpipes and testpipes did not fit, that I'd get a refund. At the time I explained that to get the downpipes out the engine would have to come out (the mechanic told me so) and that I was not prepared to pay to get the pipes removed, re-packaged and returned. Afterall, the problem was their doing and not mine. Keeping in mind I paid something like $600 postage to get these parts over in the first place. Robert decided to insult me, tried to charge me more money, and did not stand over the defective pipes and to top it off, he would not honour his word and would not give credit. I wasnt even asking Z1 to give me credit to cover postage, just for the value of the pipes that were bad. Several other people I know have had similar experiences with Z1, its just a pity I found out too late and the hard way. I'm now stuck with pipes I cant use, a belt that doesnt fit and a pillar pod that doesnt fit. I'm out of pocket about $450 for parts alone and at the rip-off rates they charge for shipping, I'd estimate at least another $300 for postage. Save yourselves a lot of hassle and use some other supplier that appreciates the business and more importantly, one that can actually send you the right parts and that will stand over their products when they are incorrectly made. My fellow Z owners here and I will never use Z1 ever again!
