Message "Fairlady" was not used in North America because North Americans would think it was a girls name or somthing... I think that using the Fairlady badge highlights the fact that you are an educated Z enthusiast... not just some joe-smo who bought a TT because it was faster than his old mustang. The Fairlady name has class and heritage that should not be ignored or forgotten. In no way is it saying that the car is somthing totally different (like M badges on 318's). In Japan there is no infiniti or acura or lexus... the G35 over there is the skyline. One of my favorite G 35's in town has the JDM skyline badges on it- it looks so classy... what's wrong with that? He's not lying... his car is a skyline, but for some reason most of us prefer silly number and letter combinations.
