Well guys, still haven;t gotten ZSPEED back from the mechanic yet. Sometime next week. And those that read my post about my window dillema, I decided to go ahead and have them take it to ziebart and they will remove the tint from the other windows which has turned a light purple, and they will retint the entire car @ a discount. I decided to go with the HP 22% tint. Anyways... I was driving home tonight ( in the honda ), and was thinking of what other things I could have my mechanic check while ZSPEED is in the shop. I remember once or twice last year, I went to start her and she just woudnt start. I had full power, batt. was fine. But when I turned her I just wouldnt start. It was a long time ago and late @ night. So I don't remember if she was trying to crank over, or if I could her a licking and tring to engage. From what I recall I turned the key and nothing, no click no nothing. Few minutes later she started right up. This has happened on and off over the last 2 years. I dont drive her very often. Maybe 2k miles last yr. Was just wondering, if this is signs of a bad starter? I did have the alt. replaced a few years ago @ Nissan, so I'm guessn its not that. And if it is the starter, is there anyway my mechanic can test it to see if its bad and needs to be replaced? And if so, I think I've been told it something like 3 bolts and a couple wires to replace? Is this right? Very easy? Or should I have them tackle it while its there? Just dont want this happening again. Thanks in advance guys...
