| I towed my car on a penske trailer and I had some problems. I solved all of them with two 2"x12"x3' planks of wood. You may not have the same problems if you have a better trailer. First of all the front bumper will scrape when you pull onto the ramps. Place the planks in front of the ramps to give yourself an extra 2" or so of clearance. Second, the undercarriage could scrape when you pass over the "peak" of the ramps. Place the planks on top of the flatbed so that the front wheels roll over them right before the bottom would scrape. It's hard to explain without taking a picture, but you'll figure it out. Definitely get a couple pieces of wood just in case.
