Message Picked up a set of 295/35 R19's for the rear on my 19x10's which are going to the flared rear of my TT.
On the front 19x8's I planned on running 245/35 R19's but am considering 245/40 R19's due to discussions last night...but have questions about those peoples accuracy. Now, I was told to always go and add 5 to the 2nd number (aspect ratio #) as an industry standard. But I've been told by a few other folks that track their car and daily drive as well that a 245/35 is okay as long as it doesn't go under the rear tires aspect ratio. I was curious also if front engine weight on tires have any sway on the decision making process and if this number reflects side wall heights also.

Rubbing is a main concern considering I am tucking in 19's so I am considering that as well. The rears I am not concerned with rubbing as the rear panel has been raised slightly, but the front maintain the stock clearances and potential for rubbing issue. I plan on keeping stock ride height with stiffer shock settings and a progressive springs but will be playing around with camber and toe later on.

Before I purchase front tires just wanted to get some perspective.

The 19's will be my daily tire that I will play with on occasion, but plan on picking up some Works rims or something a little more suited for aggressive driving later on from SPL parts. Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again, fellas.
