There's a lower air pressure behind the hatch area? Which is true... and although we have wings, a spoiler won't create down force if it's parallel to the flow of air. Both stock wings are very close to parallel and in a low pressure area... so I doubt if any downforce is being created. They may increase high speed stability, but downforce will be negligeable.
