Message a) its ALOT of cash for a car with only 415-420 HP (AT THE CRANK)

b) its a car that can get beat by a same year Z06 with MINIMAL mods

c) to make the now modded 996 TURBO keep up with the modded Z06, its a HIGHLY loosing battle in cost.

d) it represents a once pure car company thats gone sell out (THEY MAKE AN SUV), that car shares share WAY too much with the boxster, the interior is TOO nice for a Porsche, and is just entirely too easy to drive and watered down in general.

e) Its inferior in looks to the 993 (why the new 997 mimics the 993 rather than the 996).

All that said, I love (pre sell out) porsche cars. And I hold EXTREMELY high hopes for the 997 turbo. All of the above is opinion, of course - but there any many out there who share it.
Finally Spee, have you driven a 996 turbo? Have you ridden in one at speed? Even been inside one? Just curious.
