| At low rpm's the car feels like a smoker with emphysema. Lots of sputtering and congestion like it wants to cough up a big ball of phlegm. Not saying its not possible but it sounds like something else IMO. Have you checked the CAS where it inserts in the cam end? You can usually see it with a timing light if the splines where in the CAS or on the cam the timing will fluctuate at idle. Pull you cas and look at your splines on the cam and inside the cas. If its all rusted its a good sign there worn.
