the rain. He wouldn't have been able to prove anything in the rain anyways. So why would you take a chance on ruining such a well setup and expen$$$ive Z when he would not have been able to prove what his car could do anyways. In the end I guess it's just everybody's opinion, but I think just about anyone who had as much money as him in there car would have probably done the same thing. Just my 2 cents.
