| I wasn't running today as I just barely got off work as they were winding down and didn't have my camera (I know, worthless). Here's what I can remember: Charles Park (CPARK) ran an 11.6X @ 117mph on his STOCK turbo Z! After that run and a few other 11s, he then turned on the newly installed nitrous and knocked out an 11.2 @ 122ish. Greg also took a spin in his car and on the first run out nailed an 11.1X! 10s anyone? I'm sure we'll see more out of him if the weather holds up here in Cali (it was 85-90 highs today). DrDCanaceu was out with one goal today: Run another 10. Well, after FOUR solid 11 flats, he gave it one more go and not only got his 10, but got his quickest 10-second pass to date with a 10.6X @ ~130mph. Not only did he stick a 1.52 60' time on that run, but he also cut a perfect light (.000) earlier in the day on one of his 11s. Drinks are on me next week bro! Greg was out in force trying to squeeze into the 9s and while that didn't happen tonight, he did make a bunch of low 10s (10.2s that I saw, not sure if any quicker) to back up his very low 10s from last time. Some other notables off the top of my head were ZHOUND with another 10-second pass to add to his collection (10.8X if memory serves) and Mike (outkaZTT) with his Sport 500 Z that ran an 11.6 with clutch problems. With some gears and the clutch problem fixed, we have another contender for a 10-second Sport 500 car (no-nitrous). Mark my words, we WILL see someone do it =) Thanks to everyone that came out...especially you Vegas guys (and gals). Next event is in June in the horrid heat. Stay tuned.
