Message If your breakdown requires that you get down on the ground to fix something (like a spare tire), I have found that a cheap 5x7 ft blue tarp is invaluable. When new, they fold up really small and will prevent you from getting dirty or wet.

:"toolkit"? I know space in the car is limited and there is only so much that can be accomplished on the side of the road, but I've been trying to put together some essential items that might come in handy especially on roadtrips.
:So far I've got
:Spare PTU
:Small multimeter
:small screwdrivers for cleaning various connectors
:cheat sheet with ECU codes, and various printouts from the tech section for resolving no-start situations.
:spare coolant temp sensor
:spare injector, injector connector & heatshrink
:misc fuses and a few relays
:flask of whiskey and a harmonica in case I'm totally screwed and forced to wait hours for a tow.
:Anyone have suggestions for sockets and other smaller tools that are most commonly needed? If anyone has assembled something similar for roadtrips etc it'd be great to hear what you included.
